Does the clutch from a 93 fit into the 90?

Nope.  KA24E and KA24DE use different clutches.

i heard the 91-93 tranny bolt right up to the KA24E so shouldnt the clutch be interchangeable?

The end of the crank is different AFAIK.  transmissions and flywheels will swap, but clutches won't.  I don't have two to compare to tell you what's different, but I do know that ACT, SPEC, etc. all list different parts for '89-'90 and '91+
