Hi,

I'm In The Way To Swap 5-Speed Trans For my S14...And i can't Find S13/S14 5Speed Trany Anywhere....So I've looked Into The KA24(D)E Hardbody(Frointer) And The Trans Is The SAME....

The only diffrence is in lenght and (maybe) The 5th Gear Ratio...

I Have So far :

Clutch Padel - Brake padel - Clutch Master And Slave Cylinder's - Clutch Hard line - Goona to fab a drive shaft. - Flywheel And Flywheel bolts, other misc..

So I was wondring if anyoe have done this...? oh and the frontier trany hase the SAME Sensors As The S14 trany have...(revers - 5th gear - speedo)

Thanks guys,:bigok:

depending whitch year you're talking about, but according to its same as Z32. http://forums2.freshalloy.com/showpost.php?p=1434016&postcount=9

"05+ Frontier 4-cylinder uses FS5R30A Z32 gearbox
05+ Frontier 6-cylinder uses FS6R31A Z33 gearbox

"I did some more research on this. The 350Z, 05+ V6 Frontier, and the 05+ Nissan Xterra all use the FS6R31A manual transmission gearbox, and the gear widths are identical per the official Nissan FSMs.
On a side note, it appears that the 05 Frontier 4-cyl equipped with the QR uses the FS5R30A 5-speed manual. For those that know, this is the same gearbox that's in the Z32 300ZX."
