LOL. this car IS my daily driver. 4g63's handle 25-30 safely on stock internals. Stock cams so no idle problems. Clutch isn't heavy, tranny shifts smooth, suspension is not slammed nor bumpy, awd for rain/snow.

trade for a 5 spd 2000 BMW 328i? It gets 30+ MPG on the highway and around 25 MPG around town. 133k miles but it runs like a dream...has some cold idle issues which I will address later. Clutch still holds strong.

Maintenance/Problem fixes:
-Subframe - the subframes on these cars are weak at the mounting point and the trunk floor tends to tear. The subframe was fixed in August of 2007 so you won't have to worry about that.
- Unstable idle when the temperature is cold - present on 1999-2000 E46s, it's due to the failing/plasticizing of the VANOS seals. I will be doing the VANOS seals in the next month, so you won't have the cold idle problem. Valve cover gasket will also be replaced at the same time of the VANOS seals.
-Maintenance - tranny and diff fluid will be replaced within the next month

I'm not sure if I want to sell/trade it but I am considering it.
