please point me in the right direction for this thread but i haven't heard of anybody using Yokohama 225/35/17 tires. I have a 17x9 rim and was thinking of dropping the 215/45's and going with a 225/35 instead. just asking if anybody has used this tire size before and what it looks like. thanks

Yeah, check wheel/tire thread fo sho. 215/45 is gonna be a very stretched look (not bad, just saying it'll look stretched), but the 225/35 is going to be smaller, height wise, and probably still stretched (depending on which brand you go with). If you're just looking around at this point, Federal 595s are available in a small 235 that'll look better...

as of the moment i have 215/40, had 225/45 but that was too meaty, what do you mean by a "small" 235. aspect wise? thanks

yeah, like a 235/35 or 235/30.

the smallest i see for a 17" wheel is 235/40

yea, those sizes aren't made by any brand for the 17 inch rim. thanks for the help.
