Well I built my entire eng and started knocking after It over heated :( but now that I took the head off I saw that the oil squirters wernt working properly and fuked my cams. any way back to the topic. If I take my head off ( I have a power enterprise 1.1mm gasket ) Will I be able to reuse it??

Never auctually rebuilt my own eng so thats why Im asking.. and since its a metal head gasket thought it would be ok. Only 1k on the rebuild.

Thanks for any input

No... usually the headgasket forms to imperfections of the block and head. Its is not worth the time to tear it apart if you have head lift or if you have to redo the gasket because it isn't sealed correctly. Its pretty standard practice to not reuse also because it has been torque down on.

FUCK!!! oh well I see what your talking about. I kinda figured on the other hand that it would act like a crush type gasket since it has a lot of pressure on it as you are saying..

Thanks for the info tho
