i have 264 bc cams and i know it will mess with my idle, but this much?
ok so my idle is funky, i adjusted the TPS and turned the screw as low as it can go and its still idling at 1400rpm (hot)
i then went and turned the 5/16" bolt that is located directly under the throttle pulley while the motor was still running and i managed to get the idle down to 950-1000, and was finally able to hear that beautiful lope of my new cams
about after 5min of driving i let it idle again and it was right back up to 1400rpm idle, i used loc-tite but dont know if i let it dry long enough, so maybe the bolt was vibrated a little? also my gas pedal is sticking, so im assuming my throttle plate needs to be cleaned?
i have a vacuum leak on both of my intercooler in/out couplers, so would that cause the high idle?
any help appreciated
thanks
