so the current 240 i have, i picked up locally for a pretty good price, the turbo install was half assed/unfinished so the car wasn't exactly driveable. i've worked my way through fixing the mess/getting the right parts, and last nite finally got around to pulling all of the plugs (probably should have done that a while ago) and noticed that one of the 4 was not like the others :P they all did look like they were run a bit rich, but one was still soaked in gas and stuck out like a sore thumb. (mind you this car hasn't run in a good 6-8 months)
i had a similar situation on a previous SR which ended up being a bad injector o-ring that was drowning out the cylinder, so i'm definitly going to be checking that first. if thats not it, other than a bad coil pack, what else could cause that condition in ONE cylinder?

the injector itself could be bad, allowing fuel to flow through it at all times.
i know that the fsm states for code 45 which is leaky injector, that the spark plug that is wet, usually has a leaky injector.

yea thats what i'm leaning towards, i do have extra injectors available locally to me. just trying to cover all the bases to avoid any suprises :)

Without seeing the plug in question, I would not able to say what your issue might be, so I will quote a post of mine from sometime last year:
Google searched "reading spark plugs," I came up with these:
http://www.centuryperformance.com/spark2.asp
http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/spkplghnbook.htm
http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/techinfo/spark_plugs/faq/faqread2.asp
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spark_plug#Reading_spark_plugs
http://www.theultralightplace.com/sparkplugs.htm
... some of these lean toward domestics and motorcycles, but the conditions described are universal to 4-stroke engines... I posted so many of them so as to allow one to see the consistent presentation of what is being "read" from the plugs.
Not knocking you for not having looked for it in the same manner I did, it's just that my high school auto tech teacher referred to it as that, so I knew what to look for.

Make sure you fix that shit before you run the car, dont want to wash the cylinder.

of course! guessing tho that this is one of the reasons the previous owner sold the car, which he so happened to forget to mention lol
