We just experienced firsthand the unbridled awesomeness contained within the body shell of Nissan's new über-Mechagodzilla, the GT-R. Apparently, Nissan is a true believer in the car's kickassedness and would prefer if owner's didn't eff it up with superfluous wings, flares and other accoutrements that have no hope of making the car better than it already is. Those who have imported a JDM GT-R to the United States will find this page in their owner's manual that warns in no uncertain terms against pulling a Paul Walker on their GT-R. Just leave the car be, folks. You can't do better than what Nissan already did, so don't try.

i agree. that goes for all cars. if it 'aint OEM, its ultra-tacky [99% of the time].

i think nissan should only authorize certain companys to make exterior parts for it.

but i agree it looks good factory.

Imma go against you on this one lucky. Your rims arent OEM but it doesnt make it tacky. :)

i think nissan did an amazing job on the exterior, and after examining it up close i can't think of anything i'd even want to change. the only slight modification i'd make is replace the rear side marker lights (usdm are orange) with the jdm ones (clear).

Then again this is the same company that came out with the 350z then needed to make a long nose version to actually race it.

I bet we see a Nismo GT-R at next years TAS.............
