Well they sort of work and they sort of dont but ive kept all my notes so far so will do a write up when they work right

Current problems though :

1 - fuel gauge dont work
2 - oil pressure and boost pressure dont work yet (but not wired in yet)
3 - coolant temp is off the scale but think ill need to put the RB temp sensor back in.
4 - If I turn the headlings on quickly all indicators (as in the hazard switch) will flash once. However if I turn the side lights on then wait and then turn the headlights on it dont do it.

Any ideas or tips people ?

Well what the hell are you trying to do to begin with? You running RB engine that you warrant the use of a R33 gauge? The only advantage that cluster has is that it oil pressure and boost pressure on it. Whooptie fucking do when the boost pressure only goes up to 7 psi. Besides the rewire, you also need the stock sending units for the oil pressure and boost from the RB if this this on an SR.

Ta for putting it all so nicely :bigok:

Yes its a S13 with a RB25DET. All the sensors are on the RB somewhere so will be done when ive got past the initial problems !.

As for why im doing it - why not ? I have a guage here and the S13 speedo and tacho dont work with the RB !

Kinda ironic.....:faint:

Thought id add it it you never know !

My point is, considering how much work you have to put in rewiring the damn cluster to atleast make it work, you might as well have just bought some aftermarket gauges that works better and will actually do you some good. To me, the stock boost gauge is just there to be pretty. Once you go over the stock 7 psi, the boost gauge is worthless. Oil pressure gauge maybe be of some use, the catch with them is that the damn sending using for the stock cluster have a tendency to take a crap...ALOT.

PS: I have an R33 and my oil pressure sender is about to take a crap...

I do see your point and the only reason I will get them to work in the end is cos I hate things on my car that dont work.

I know its alot of work but this why I get a speedo and tacho and dont end up with 2 more gauges stuck to my dash. I think over there (in the states) you can use the KA speed sender to the S13 dash but over here that wont work as it only reads about a third of the speed. I say I THINK as I know hardly anything about KA's as they were never released over here.
