i'm finding it difficult to find excuses to post.

this place is becoming a run-off of other forums where all the homos come becuase they cant keep up at FA.

i looked over the chat section the other day and didnt know a single person who started a thread.

i'm not going anywhere's i refuse to runaway, but i believe an elitist attitude is very called for. it's like being a senior in highschool and not talking to the grade 9's.

or it's like being a realistic university student trying not to laugh when your classmates, who are not doing nearly as well as yourself, are talking about getting their master's and how their dad or uncle or what-have-you are going to hook them up with something after school.

meanwhile they dont a job, failed teh last mid-term and dont feel to bad about it.

or by comparison, they just read or heard about 240's, have never thought about them before, have little money or are being funded by mommy, done no research, and think everyone is just like their ghey friends who also drive FF's and call every car they dont know a skyline because it's cool.

frig everyone wants a skyline and they dont know page 1 about life yet.

some dude in ottawa just afforded is FD he's been working for, he died this weekend pushing it in the rain.

I've been discouraged with my car lately, so I haven't been on much. &nbsp;I now have a seized brake caliper--spent over an hour today trying to get the 83000-mile bolts loose, only to find out I have to take it to the dealership and pray it's covered under my ext warranty <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':crazy:'>

I'll be around a lot more this week hopefully. &nbsp;I miss the "old" crowd too!

Tofu, I remember when you had to leave us almost completely for a bit when they changed your work schedule on you. &nbsp;I'm glad you're back more--I like your knowledge and you help make this forum more fun.

I miss the way a lot of you guys used to talk shite to each other, posting conversations from AIM or ICQ. &nbsp;That was a total funking blast! &nbsp;This forum seems to be getting a lot better again, though. &nbsp;I haven't been able to contribute much lately because I've been dealing w/ finally moving into a new house, looking for another job (still have one but I hate it), and stupid constant maintenance issues w/ my car (that was horrible maintained before I got it).

The angry posts have almost stopped, there was like 2 months where everyone was freakin out, but now its getting better. Alot of regulars left cuz of that.

The forum just grew so fast because of all the attention the 240sx has gotten, and most of us who owned our cars before they became "in" dont like the extra attention... so we got pissed at all the ricer newbs the flooded the place. Most have left, but some remain... we just have to hold tight, the rice will leave someday.

Hey, not all noob's are bad.

I'm still pretty new to this board and I don't know most (if any) of the seasoned veterans of this board.

But I'd like to think that myself and others who've recently started to lurk and post on this board have contributed with some good info and interesting (if not harsh <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':laugh:'>) debates.

I can understand the onflux of ricers and people who don't know too much about our cars but face it, it's only gonna get worse from here. 240's have become mainstream, drifting is getting there. We all should be flattered that our beloved 240 is finaly getting the attention it deserves. And with this newfound status that we all carry we have to deal with people who don't know much about our cars or cars in general for that matter. I can understand how you guys don't want this to be a board populated by hundreds of noob's and ricers alike but as I see it there are two ways to look at it. We can sit in our Sh*t and whine about noobs and how much &nbsp;we hate them or we can spread our knowledge about our soon to be overglamorfied (I don't thing thats a word <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':laugh:'>) 240's. At least with the second option we can have less people acting like idiots all the time.

Personaly I'm looking forward to the day when RB powered 240's are the equivelent money and ease wise to a b18 powered honda. And sr swaps will be considered the budget upgrade for our cars <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
