Definably a batch job,
If you wanted to fix something quickly and ghetto you go to it.
I doubt it would be very strong... they apply it so thinly.

Yeah, what are you planning on welding? That's definitely no replacement for mig or tig

Welding is melting two pieces of metal together, not soldering metal on top of them.
So, this is not welding.

i think the technical term is "brazing"....if you want to do that just get an oxy acteline torch....some home depot alum rod and go to town....it takes some practice b/c often times the rod will melt too quickly...and the joint wont be strong....too much heat and the parts will melt quickly....

yeah, kind of deceiving... how do you know how much pressure he is putting on the drill or on the poke??? It's like bench pressing with plastic hallow weights that read 1 TON

If I just wanted to fill something that is not a structural piece. Then I might see how well it works. Other then that, I would rather weld it using a real welder.

Has anyone seen the infomercials for Alumaloy? The lady with the monotone voice. My friend and I used to make fun of her all the time back in the day in welding class. It's ultimately the same process as Dura Fix.
