Fedex claimed that they dropped off the built head, that I bought from LuckySR, here on Zilvia. According to the online tracking, it was deliverd at 8:26 p.m. on 02/27/08. Now, we are talking about a 70lbs + package, that's getting dropped off on someones front porch, and my mom wouldn't notice? I don't think so. I also have dogs, and they would have gone crazy, if there was some delivery guy at my door. So, I called Fedex, and they are going to investigate. Either he didn't deliver it al all, or he took it to the wrong house. :duh: I really hope, that the head can be located. I can't afford to lose something of this much value. I'll update later, when I get more info. This sucks.

The worst part about this, is the guy that sold me the head, didn't declare teh value of the package. So, Fedex will only cover 100 bucks. If they don't find the package, i'm fucked. Fuck Fedex, USPS pwns.

Damn that sucks. Chances are they screwed up and send it to the wrong house. Did you have insurance on it??? That would definetly help. Keep updating.
did you check with your neighbors? maybe the dude dropped it at the wrong house

That's sad man. I've had a package delivered to the wrong house before, luckily the lady who got it by accident was nice enough to bring it to me.

Happened to me also. I had a huge fight with the Wherehouse for some CDs that they delivered to the wrong address.

nice. glad to hear everything worked out.
FedEx is the best Business to Business, but I hear nothing but problems when residential addresses are involved. Glad you got it back!

Good thing u got it back. My friend just sent his built block and new pistons forgot which type, with ups. They just called him up saying they dropped the box and it has damage. The worse part is he insured it for 1200 but the value for all that is way more.

So i double checked with the chick that does the parcel shipping where i work. She said that when FedEx ships to residential houses they leave parcels at the residence without a signature. I hope that helps. If not PM me and i can get an inside job done for you. We have some FedEx reps that work for us.

1. Ask your neighbors if they seen your package.
2. Go to your local FedEX main warehouse and speak with the manager.
3. This is somewhat a common problem with fedex. They tell you your package has arrived, but it really hasn't. (I've has this happen to me a few times, they said it arrived to my city on this date, I went crazy..a few days later it was on my steps)
4. Double check if the person who sent you the package marked the box for a signature required upon delivery.
If he didn't the package gets returned the your local warehouse and pends shipement until a notification is sent, or until you just go there and give em the tracking number, and they will search for it in their warehouse.
Hopefully you get your head bro. Just wait it out a few more days.

I've learned a valuable lesson: Always request for signature confirmation. The only reason, I didn't ask for it from the shipper, is that I thought that the package would come at a time when i'd be home.

I hate cheap a$$ sellers like that. How hard is it to declare the value for at least what the buyer paid for it? What does it cost, a couple of bucks? Good luck getting your stuff.
Wow lucky fedex isn't on zilvia otherwise this would have been locked. lol just messing. :bigok:
Anyways that does suck. GL
