So, I have another thread on here askign about my tension rods. Well I ordered them and they are going on tomorrow or saturday. Thing is, today I was driving ( to court, fucking bastards) and my car doesn't come anywhere near to full lock on the left. It needs an alignment fo sho's but anyways. It pops at 3/4 rotation and again near the "full lock" It also gets stuck in both the pop areas and takes some force to get it out. Could it just be I need an alignment like a motherfuck? It's scary driving the car now :hyper: :sadwavey:

That sounds like way more than an alignment issue. I would GUESS strut mounts? If they bind up when you are turning, that could cause your issue.

Did this just start out of the blue or has it always been like that? Almost sounds like a bad/sticky spot on the steering rack.

Like I said in your other thread, I hope its nothing to do with LCAs, like this

jack it up and see whats going on.

I hit a curb and tweaked my LCA, had the same problem...

but it might also be your tension rods, since they keep the wheel from moving too far back and forth.

if the wheel goes too far back, you won't get as much lock out of it.

Just happend over the last two weeks or so. My steering rack ( or whatever the fuck comes out of the firewall ) towards the knuckle pops up and down when I turn. FUcked up.

I have new tension rods from SPL. Have yet to put them in but there's something wrong that I think is other than the tension rods ....when it comes to turning of course.

that could be from too much caster. what coilovers do you have? if you have the stance maybe your got the bad set. and its locking up.
