It's an easy way to make a lot of cash for a potentially starving family. Although, I doubt this is typically the case. I have a feeling that most of the car theives in America do it to prove to themselves just how badass they are. :loco:

Yeah I really freakin hate car thieves!! I haven't had any of my cars stolen yet but I'm hoping, once my S14 gets to the point I want it at, it doesn't happen to me. I carry brass knuckles in the door of my car and I have a very nice baseball bat in my room just for the occasion. ^_^ I really don't have a problem with beating someone within an inch of their life if they try and steal my baby.

thief's steal cars for money plain and simple

Cars that are moded have aftermarket parts, which are not VIN marked making it easier to sell and virtually impossible to prove it was stolen.

why is it lame? stealing in general is lame, even people with weak morals know that stealing is wrong. To take someones car that they put there time and money into is horrible. It takes the scum of the earth to do something like that

Car thieves steal cars because it's easy as hell, and near impossible to get caught unless you're dumb.

Being as how honda and nissan owners pour TONS of money into their cars and don't invest in anti-theft makes them prime targets. Another thing is older nissans don't have vin numbers stamped everywhere. So they are easy to sell being as how you can't get caught with it.

I mean really. People have damn near track cars yet can't afford to get their car on lockdown? haha. It's stupid. I mean is it fair. No. But life isn't fair.

You hear about cars. Bikes are even more commonly stolen and are easier to steal. Thing funnier about that is that people ride stolen bikes around regularly.

car thieves are just selfish. they don't care about others but themselves getting what they want. and when there's a time a thief wakes up and found that their own car got stolen, thats when they start bitching about thieves like themselves. im sure there are thieves here on this forum gathering information for their next target. face it, car thieves are enthusiasts too. im not mentioning any names but think about this, how many of you think that all the cars in import magazines are legit? majority of them are legit but there are some who use dirty money to fix up their own car. my opinion about this, they'll get what they deserve one day and if they don't, they'll grow out of it.
