OK I ALREADY SEARCHED BUT NO ONE SEEMED TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME...
im going to lay it all out so you guys know whats up...
so my car is an S14 and came with a swapped vlsd from an SR, it clunked, vibrated, skipped, and would hesitate at low rpm pretty badly...
i also have a spare open diff, the stock one...
and i just bought a 300zx diff to replace the SR diff...
i found i need to change some things to make it work so i did...
i pulled out my "bad" SR diff, and could not get the output shafts out, they are really stuck in there,
my 300zx diff already had the shafts removed, so i moved on to my open diff, got the shafts out with much ease, so i proceeded to put them into the 300zx diff...
i got the driver side in with ease, (it also comes out with much ease, is thats normal?) but the passenger side will NOT go in all the way, it sticks out about 1/4 inch... im SURE i got the sides correct as the passenger shaft is longer than the driver, i got a block of wood, and tried to hammer it in but still no go... it wont go in and i dont wanna pound it too hard in fear of breaking something, or maybe i did something wrong???
can anyone shed light on my problem???
HERE IS A PIC OF HOW MUCH IT STICKS OUT...
