The cars are cool, the editing and content was a bit repetitive, but i can watch Vida pose all damn day long . . .

Actualy, they cover that. This first episode talked about the differences between those that chop, rod and simply rebuild. Lots do the hydraulics but many of them kept them original and clean as hell.
Personaly i think the bags to drop them low is still keeping the resto within reason. But i agree the full hyrdo's = fail

the lowrider is part of california car culture...and u still see a lot of it influenced today with other car enthusiasts, my dad and i own a lowrider together...chose to go with air ride rather then hydros...but still stays true to the style
