I'm completely stumped on this problem so I figured I'd post here...
My speakers in my laptop suck, so I bought a $50 set of logitech 2.1 speakers. I plugged them into the headphone jack on the front of the laptop, and I get this wierd constant buzz when I'm in windows. If I go into WoW, or play an mp3 in windows the buzz goes away.
The buzz only shows up when there is no sound coming out of the speakers.
A few things I have read so far said maybe there is interference because the jack is so close to all the other components inside the laptop...
I was thinking of picking up a USB external sound card, think that would help?
