I was wondering if anyone can tell me how big the injector on a stock KA and SR motor are? I am getting a lot of crazy numbers

The SR is that for a S13 or a S14? or both?

Both have the same injectors for all years as do the KA's IIRC.

Also, for the KA, how high can you go before those injectors should be replaced?

I think its only 4 or 5 lbs max. That might also be with a fuel regulator too. Not sure about that. But 4 to 5 lbs sounds about right.

ANsport stage turbo kit is limited to 7lbs of boost and utlilizes stock injectors on the KA24DE. Now if the stock injectors could not handle that they would not be selling the kit like that. People would be blowing there engines up due to fuel starvation and sueing Nsport. So the statement that the stock injectors can only handle 4-5lbs of boost is conservative at best.
That is right up ther with the statement someone else on Fresh alloy made about early KA24DE's only being able to handle 210 hp on stock internals. hahahaha
geez where do you guys get this misinformation??

stock 270cc injector will reach 100% duty cycle at about 5 psi. but you could use an adjustable fuel regulator to add more fuel even though the injectors are wide open, but this will kill it sooner
btw ka24e onle have 260cc the ka24de have 270cc

yes but again where are you getting your info from?
About the stock KA24DEinjectors reaching maximum duty cycle at 5psi? If that is true, like I said earlier, Nsport would be risking a lot, selling a stage one Turbo setup for $3200 that would kill your engine. I would trust their research before I trust what you say. They have a business to run and thats selling a reliable performance setup .
