need a little help

i m working on a paper and the topic i choose to write is why can't we buy cars that wasn't born in the US. so my question is where can i find some articles and stuff like that to read about .. i m totally clueless of where to start.. thanks a lot.

It is a good thing I'm not a grammar freak! &nbsp;Here's an example straight from the grammar textbook.

You wrote:

It should read: &nbsp;Why can't we buy cars that weren't born in the US?, because of the fact that "cars" is plural, thereby creating a need for the "were not" conjunction, instead of the "was not" conjunction.

To further correct the problem of inanimate objects not being able to be "born" the sentence should read:

Why can't we buy cars that weren't manufactured in the US?


But really, to emphasize your distaste for the subject the sentence should read:

Goddamn motherfuckers ain't lettin' us buy cool cars from over there in Japan! &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> &nbsp;Heheh. &nbsp;Sorry, I just couldn't resist. &nbsp;Wow, what a post whore I am. &nbsp;Please ignore this post. &nbsp;I'm probably making people dumber for reading it.
