I was told by Ksport that they will fit directly into your 240 w/ no problems. It's the same unit and kit they are running in the orange s13.5.

i was just reading the site and it said it comes with reservoir.. just curious, i was thinking of getting this as well, instead of being cheap and building my own.. which you never know, that might be better

on my car, (I didn't use a K sport, but have a CNC brakes, cost me $130 plus shipping new)

you will cut your OEM line in the tranny tunnel and drill a hole for the in and one for the out, it goes inline between the master cylinder and the rear brakes.

if you had a reservoir then I would think that might be a bad idea, you would be forcing the brake fluid to the BMC and the rear brakes at the same time, to me, that doesn't make sense.

Could you explain a little more about your setup? I am thinking even if you tap it inline between the mc & rear brakes, it will still be forcing the brake fluid to bmc too? Isn't it?

this is a for sale section. search if you want to gain some knowlegde. but here's a quick rundown

in-line-use stock calipers
reservoir- use extra calipers-seprate lines/braking from regular brakes

with a resivoir attached to the brake it would be forcing fluid down the line (toward the rear of the car) and up the line (toward the bmc) I'm not saying that it would be a bad idea, I'm just not sure that it sounds good to me personally.

with my set up, there is a small amount of brake fluid held inside the hydro e-brake, and when you pull the lever a plunger forces the fluid out, and only to the back of the car.

It's a hydraulic handbrake, guys. I have this exact piece that I'll be using on the 510, and I've never heard any bad reviews about the K-Sport ebrake. From what I've been told, there's no need for a reservoir, you mount it "in line," and the excess brake fluid held in the lines to the ebrake should be nearly enough to force close the rear brakes (be they drum or disk).

Plus, it's a beautiful part!
