Couldnt find the answer in the FAQ's or forums so this ones for someone whos done the swap. 95 KA into a 92 chassis, this question concerns the vacuum lines & solenoids at the back of the head on the 92ka towards the firewall. The 95 obviously has fewer lines and solenoids, can I keep the 95 manifold and do without the vacuum lines/solenoids or do I have to switch out the manifold to properly run the 92? Thanx again.

I'm pretty sure you'll throw a bunch of cel's as well as your harness won't be able to plug in to the sensors. The heater core hoses are also at the bottom of the manifold instead of the back. You'd be better off switching the manifold to the s13 mani with the scv's and vacuum maze on the back. Its not hard at all when the engines are out of the cars.

I put a 95ka into my 91 hatch.

I dumped all the vacuum lines and solenoids and used a 91 intake manifold (sorry, can't help on the solenoid compatibility).

I'm 83% sure you can use the 95 intake manifold, but make sure you swap in the s13 coolant temp sensor (and possibly the tps).

Don't forget to use the s13 distributor w/ external coil on the 95 ka.

The SCV solenoid is the only difference. You don't need it on the 95 engine.
