I'm looking at buying an almost new cusco clutch off my friend for 300 bucks. It has a single puck disc on the clutch, is it going to be too much for street driving? My 240 has close to 400hp so the clutch would def. be of use, but so would any stage 2 act clutch. Help! I dont know if I should get it cause it's such a damn good deal, but at the same time I dont want something thats way too much for me. What would be your advice?

it shouldn't be to bad if cusco's quality is anything like ORC. i had a 3 puck on my car maknig 396 at the wheels and its never gave up and was very easy to drive.
hope this helps.
just remember to make sure its capacity is up to the challenge

Yes they make singles, w/the flywheel and build able to a double or triple.

does this mean in order to use this clutch I HAVE to have a different flywheel?

Well which clutch is it?
There are the single/twin plate clutches:

Hyper Single:

I realize there are single, double, and triple plate clutches... but never such thing as a single puck clutch. :loco:

single puck would be so rad.
7000rpm input shaft flexing 10cm every rotation.
too bad he means full face.

haha ok well i'm not too familiar with the inner-workings of a clutch, but I think it's a twin plate clutch but he said it was single puck disc, he might just be an idiot :mepoke:

well in any case it sounds like it might not be too bad to drive every day:rawk:
