Not sure if this applies to USDM S-Chassis' or not but i thought id post it up anyways.
Im sure most of you guys with 180's are used to the seat belt locking when its pulled out and then you have to unbuckle for it to spool back in. i was getting fed up with that shit and got to thinking. i figured that since the seat belt has no problem spooling back in when its unbuckled why not try and trick the car into thinking that its always unbuckled. i reached under the seat and unplugged the connector that routes from the belt buckle back to the actual belt spool and problem fixed. the car now thinks that the belt is always unplugged and it spools back in if i lean to the side, forward, or any other direction for that matter. on top of that the fasten seat belt light on the cluster doesnt even come on. i yanked on the belt a few times too and found that the G-lock still works fine, so im assuming that if i was to wreck it would still lock up like it should.
If you havent tried this yet give it a try. So far im loving it and im never going to plug that damn cable back in.
