My mechanical background includes about 4 SBC buildups, a lot of that time spent working on heads (porting and polishing). Time has come (possibly) to get to work on my new SRs head. My only thing is, it's OHC and I'm used to OHV. What should I know about it pulling it off and putting it back on (with new stuff on it). I'm most worried about cam placement and timing and the CAS beign correct.
Someone help ease my woes please.

The beauty of nail polish my friend <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
As long as you put the crank at TDC then mark the placement of the cams, cam gears, chain, cas etc you'll be fine. Then once you get everything back in you'll need to play around with the CAS a little bit to get the timing set again. No biggie.
While you have the head off get springs and rocker arm stoppers. That's always a plus.
Good Luck!

Yeah, thats what I planned on doing. Tomei package from JSPEC.com. I always thought there were timing marks or something to show where to put your sensor and cams. So basically what your saying to do it to pull off the side, mark the chain, crank, cams, and CAS then pop it all back together with those same marks?
