These are for SR20. They are very very good condition. They will come in original boxes. Only used for about 1500miles. They broke one of my valve springs and the car has been down ever since. selling b/c i bought a complete long block and no longer need these anymore. Asking $220+shipping. Can provide pics if needed

what mods besides springs and retainers do you have to buy so you can upgrade to these cams?

i was using stock retainers, so its not completely necessary to upgrade those. but i would definitely use some good springs (not comp). you would obviously need a way to tune for them as well. and possibly some adj. timing gears.

i was using them but my valve spring broke. maybe the retainer would have broke, i dunno. either way, the BC springs and retainer kit is priced low enough :)

Do you have any pictures of these yet? Are there any scoring on the journals at all?
thanks

Stock retainers are fine, unless you're running super crazy redline. Tomei uses stock retainers in their 400hp crate SR20 motor...

so besides an aftermarket Spring and retainer combo what else is on the list so you can use these cams with such a high duration? I want to know im curious.

Huge cams are not something you "put other mods on" for, they're one of the "other mods" you do to get the most out of your setup.
The stock SR cams are pretty garbage for a healthy powerband, so depending on what your dyno looks like with your current setup, you should pick your cam/porting/etc mods to choose how much you want your power shifted towards the higher rpm's.
Most people running 272's have a large turbo, aren't incredibly concerned with spool time (because big cams will help make more power at less boost, at the expense of spooling the turbo later), and want to make more power towards redline. You should have headwork done (porting) to get the most out of these, but it's certainly not required.

Sorry for thread jacking but im curious about these cams.
ok lets say if someone used the BC 272 cams would they have to re-shim the valves to use the cams. Also what about the HLA (hydualic lash adjuster) wouldent they be deflated or something and what about the Tomei solid pivot kit (SLA). How would you guys set up your valvetrain to use these cams

You don't *have* to do any of that. The hydraulic lifters are for low maintenance, and work for anything close to stock lift - I don't know exactly what the BC 272's lift is, but Tomei does recommend solid lifters with their 12.5mm Pro-Cams.

you really only need the solid lifters if you are going with a high rev limit

hmm IIRC the lift on the BC 272 are 12.55mm same as Tomei's pro cams anywho Thanks man.

i was gonna say, i think the lift is something around 12.5mm.
I'm going to be running the JWT C1 cams which I believe are around the same lift as well. Not going to be using anything other than RAS and JWT springs
