brake conversion question.

Hello, I'm making a 5 bolts and z32 brake conversion on my S13. I know that I need a conversion hose to fit the Z32 galiper, but I have S14 galiper on the rear and I want to know if my S13 OEM hose will fit on the S14 galipers. thanks!

this whole part had nothing to do with your question, nor did it make Cents. But yes your s14 Galiper will fit your S13 hose.

....If "hose" = a brake hard line and a "galliper" is a calliper then yes the BRAKE LINES from a S14 share the same thread pitch as the S13. As you stated you will need conversion lines with different sized fittings for the swap from Z32 to S chassis.

The ebrake cables attach differently, too, I think. The cables have a different end on them where they attach to the caliper.

Haha its cool man. And e1_griego (http://www.zilvia.net/f/member.php?u=27631) was correct that teh Ebrake connection is different. i had to use an S13 rear caliper on my S14 and had to "fabricate" a pin to make the cable work....what this did was stretch my ebrake cable on one side..crappy. Hope this helps!! And I DONT HATE YOU :)

get the Q45 galipers if you dont want to change brake lines they bolt right on
