how often do u have to change fuel filter?

i just changed my fuel filter it has been 1 1/2  yrs and about 20000-25000 miles......
but how often am i suppost to change it?
i was like my old one looks like crap and it was getting oxydised (cant spell) so i spent $10 and grabbed another

Generally, every 10-15k miles.

i have replaced mine only once and i have put 40k on it

edit: haha there ya go, yeah, i just put the z32 fuel filter in, my car had 108k and i believe i was removin the original one...

I used a Z32 filter....lots of fuel starts pouring when you change it. &nbsp;Oh yea its every 60K miles....i think. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':huh:'>

i just changed my fuel filter 2 weeks ago and it made a HUGE difference for me. &nbsp;i'd say its been about 40k miles, whatever it is, it was way too long... i went with a 300TT filter as well ($5 &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':thumbsup:'> ). &nbsp;its about the easiest thing u can change on your car

yeah i was just goin to say taht you should change it after every tune up. well i tune my car up every 30K miles. so its pretty close.
