Okay, im new to sr's still and learning everday. I did a search on this, and see numbers, but dont know exactly what to pick out as far as reachin what i want so if you could please post your mods or let me know what parts i need to get and how much im lookin about spending to reach this goal.

I want more torque than anything else than HP, i love the pull versus highway monster, yet i still like that.

THanks a lot.

im making 330 whp at 15 psi on my setup and 290 whp at 12 psi (no floor fans)

so 3psi on my 2871r .86= 40 whp

so at 20 psi ill be over 380whp

here is my mod list

tubular manifold
garrett gt2871r .86
hks step 2 cams
hks valve springs
tomei 740cc
apexi power fc
apexi metal head gasket
walboro 255 lph fuel pump
greddy intake manifold
greddy front mount exhaust
full 3 inch exhaust to a 3.3 inch catback
z32 maf
z32 fuel pump
z32 fuel filter
arp head studs
fidanza flywheel
i think thats all... prob skipped something

That graph is aweful

but then again you cant tune shit on a dynojet, dynojets should be relegated to fun big dyno days from now on imo, no one actually calibrates them and keeps them properly set up besides maybe Martin at XAT.

so at 20 psi ill be over 380whp

You can't know that for certainty until you on the dyno and tuning per the gas in your tank.

Ive seen some smaller bottom mounts get choked up by small throttle body, IM or other factors and be unable to break the 350whp mark even at 18-20 psi.

Once I got through with re-building the timing map It's possible, but a lot of "tuning driftrrrrssss shooopps" don't know what they are doing and just bought a shop with a dyno already installed in the floor and make you all believe they know what they are doing

350-450 are easy to achieve with sr's
check out FA, more than enough info on there
dont upgrade to greddy mani if you want low end torque

garrett gt2871r .64 - 400 whp
garrett gt2871r .86 - 450 whp

Thats also false again on a steady state dyno I can tune for torque by adjusting timing and watching knock (when the sensor is working properly) and make low end torque on any SR with ANY CAMS and Greddy IM with any 2871R or 30R varient.

It is true you can have slightly more low end torque all things being equal but you have to have a tuner who knows how to wind things out up top.

here is an example.

Stock IM 264 Step II cams with T04E -Straight T4 wheels Turbine and Comp

12.5 psi

and here is my setup same cams , GT30R with greddy IM and Q45 TB

i made 380 something and 350 something with a 20G on my S13 boosting 18 pounds on a dynomite. once i fix the boost drooping issue with the new apex boost controller kit i hope. power is going to increase

i believe i was lifting the head as well. once i retorqued the arp's that dip around 5k smoothed out.

pink is 20psi 93 octane 3.9 r200 rear end old tune, red is 14psi (low boost) 3.54 r200 rear end, and blue was 20psi 3.54.

he only tuned me for 20psi, the one up there i put 100 octane in it, turned the boost up to 22psi and queened a decent peak, mainly i wanted to see if the a/f's checked out at 22. we didn't do any tuning at dynolab. i just like his nice laminated printouts with pictures of the car too =]

Thats a pretty nice graph ^

Could have pulled up a little more timing in the map probably

but if your lifting head, that's a good time to stop ;)
