I looked in the FAQ and searched on this topic and nothing came up. If there's a good answer to this, it should probly be FAQed. What is the procedure generally used to flush and fill your radiator? I have a 1990 Hatch and a 1994 Vert. Are the procedures different at all because of the engines? I doubt it, but just checking. Thanks, Todd

The standard way to do it is to open the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator and drain it.  Then turn you car on w/ heat on full blast and let it run for 10mins filling the radiator w/ water the whole time while the drain plug is still out.
Once the fluid coming out of the drain plug is clear you have succesfully drained your coolant system.  Now fill accordingly w/ the propper mix water and coolant (normally 50/50) and you are done

Thanks for making it sound so simple. Some people make it sound so complicating

Well, if you're using a flush solution, follow the instructions on it. Some of them require you to let it mix into your system for a certain amount of time, then do what he said above to get all the gunk and flush solution out.
