ok, so the other day i noticed a weird humming noise coming from the back of my car. i first thought it was a small airplane or ultralight flying overhead...but then i heard it a few times in one day and realized it was my car.

so im thinking its the fuel pump. anyone else had this problem yet?

its not the normal quiet buzz from the pump, its a REALLY loud deep humm. and it seems to get quiet then really loud

verify it's the fuel pump first. it could be a wheel bearing also. they hum when they start to go bad, could be the diff also, and could also be tire noise...........don't waste money on parts till you isolate what part is going bad. save yourself time and money with a thorough diagnostic rather than a quick hypothesis.

ahhhhHHHHHHhhhhh, well...when you get low on fuel they tend to get a little noisier...but if that's not the case, before they take a shit they get noisy too...so i think you got it narrowed down
