my 91 240sx fastback got stolen.

today i woke up at around 7 to take my lil bros to school n i found that my 240 was missing. it was parked outside of our house. if anyone sees it rollin around please contact me. i live in SoCal Northridge area. here are the details of my car.


1991 240sx black fastback with two rear konig holes and two gunmetal stock alloys. the car is stock with clean body license plate 5TXJ674.

most likely no ones going to see it rollin around... at least not looking like it did. my friends datsun 240z got stolen, the cops found it two blocks away three weeks later with the interior stripped except they put in a 300zx seat and they put the stock 300zx rims on it.

& another friend of mine had his scca itr stolen from his enclosed trailer at a hotel near laguna seca.

people suck. stealing sucks.

DON'T PARK YOUR CARS ON THE STREET!!! Obviously use a garage, hell even if you have to sweet talk your parents into parking their cars in the driveway. Shit pay em if you have to.

Bottomline, 240s out in the open are easy targets. And you know they're getting stolen by guys in the community that know what to look for. Shoot I heard a story about a guy that almost got his ride jacked just by parking at Lowe's and going in for a quick purchase, only to come out a minute later cause he forgot something and they were already all over his car, like flies on shit.

You could try to get additional insurance to cover the car's overall value, not necessarily resale value. Costs more but worth it. Only thing is some insurance companies don't offer that kind of coverage, just look around.

Seriously! This is what ive been saying. Seeing the growing market in 240s now we are also targets when it comes to thieves. If you don't have a garage i wouldn't bother fixing up the car at all. Or you can just have your car parked up front and 3 other cars in back then you can just worry about misc stuff stolen. Still i would recommend a garage.

If your car is recovered within the City of Los Angeles city limits, ask the recovering police officers that notify you that your car has been found to have your car dusted & checked for fingerprints. It may take a day or two before we get to it, but if the bastards that stole it were stupid enough to leave legible fingerprints behind, we'll get 'em for you!!!

seriously. invest in getting alarms. its ridiculous that we put money into our cars (stereo, wheels, aero, suspension) yet how many of you owners don't have an actual alarm system. A quick release doesn't do much if its sold in quantities thru numerous vendors. Invest in an actual alarm and a form of track like lo jack. you may spend more monthly but its nice to know that its being watched by others when you aren't watching the car urself.

hey guys! i got my baby back! it turned up at a towing place like 3 mins away. my car was found 5 or 6 blocks from there too. the car is in pretty good shape. the only things missing were all the paperwork for the car, my mails n the pink. =(. but im soo glad i got it back. i never thought i wold ever find it again. and now imma keep a good lookout for my car n get some things done to increase the security in it and also if anyone ever, ever, tries to jack me again. be ready to get shot at mofukka. =D i aint playin. feel free to try me. i dont mean to be so violent but stealin someones beloved 240 is a crime i will never be easy on. and for every zilvian that gave support i thank u.

I leave my car parked and running in front of my house around 3pm every so often, as all the hoodlums (LOL) from Jordan High School walk home. Sadly, none of them ever take the bait.
My plan differs from yours a bit, though... The moment they open my door to hop in, I'd be on em, and just flat out beating the living shit out of the motherfucker in front of his friends. I wouldn't shoot anybody, nor would there be any body dumping. Thats too risky around here. lol
