hey, i was just wondering if any of u guys can help with this:
i was installing an in-dash tv into my car, and for a little while it worked....then i heard a pop sound, and then it stopped working. i tried to hook back up my stock deck, and now that doesn't work anymore either...did i fry something? i've checked all my fuses and they are good, but my head unit no longer works anymore. it only ejects my cd.....please help!

that happend to me too... i was installing another amp... the popping noise came from me splicing the wires together (stocks for the head AND wires to the amp)... i found out i was sending two signals to through the speakers (or thats how it was explained to me)... the rca and the stock wiring... but to help you out... one question... did the pop come from the speakers or from behind the head unit? i would tell you to check your connections and than check your fuses again. &nbsp;make sure you dont have anything ran twice... make a seperate ground and make sure its only getting one signal

i'm pretty sure the poppin came from my speakers...but i hooked all this up using a metra wiring harness kit. &nbsp;the only thing is: now my stock deck doesn't even work any more...i could see why my after market one wouldn't work b/c of rca's but why won't my stock one work? &nbsp;tha's what i'm more concerned about....someone told me it could be a fuse or a relay...
