I have a KA24E I have a ticking noise under my valve cover I did a lot of research and I think is my lifters so I took them out and some are solid and some plunge in and out. I read that if they are solid they are bad and I also read that they just need to be bled. Is there a correct way of bleeding it or do I just need new one?

Are you sure your timing chain is fine? When i had a sohc the guide broke and the chain was hitting the timing cover making a tapping sound that eventually wore though the water jacket in the cover ruining the engine.
