I searched and didnt find much anyway here is my question and any help would be appreciated...Im buying my exhaust system soon and plan on turboing within the next year. Im running a KA24DE and I was curious if running 85mm piping is pointless when its NA and or if I would lose power...I dont really want to buy piping 65mm for NA then 85mm for turbo so Id figure Id just jump ahead and get the bigger piping now...if your wondering the system Im getting is the HKS hiper exhaust and not sure if going with the 85mm piping is a good idea for NA.Thanks!

Been common knowledge for years that KAs love larger diameter exhausts. You'll be fine, annoying as hell on the road, but fine.

Look around this forum.
There are MANY posts asking about the same thing.

It has even been dyno proven that KA's LOVE TO BREATHE!
So, 3" exhaust piping is not bad.

85mm is the hottest girl in school.

65mm is her ugly best friend.

Make your choice.
