Gears of War 2

Anyone else see the teaser? Nothing too special but, it does have me asking for more. I can't wait until it comes out in November 08. I think two things ruined the first one...laggy online play/host advantage and shotgun superiority. I won't reserve a copy because Walmart will have plenty just like they did with Halo 3.

I'm not a fan of FPS in general. The market is over saturated with them and even the best one's only offer a marginal better experience then the last "must have" FPS.

It's kinda why I enjoy my Wii so much and am looking so forward to GTA4.

have you played COD4? It's the best one right now in my opinion. The grand theft auto series is very repetitive.

I'm also not a huge fan of GoW. It was fun for a while and I beat the crap out of the single-player campaign, but the multiplayer is nothing short of annoying... I only have so much patience for snot-nosed, smart-mouthed 12-year olds.

The sequel should be a nice distraction, though, if I can get away from Rock Band and Forza 2.

I feel the same about multiplayer Forza2 and Halo3.
It's a good thing I can't punch people through the internet.
Needless to say a lot of people get negative player reviews from me for being so freaking annoying. It's a really good thing I don't have a headset, I'd probably be banned for telling 11 year olds to put away their headsets until their testicles drop.

however, i beat Call of Duty 4 and re-played it a couple times. and Arcade Mode was fun too. i got so frustrated playing Gears of War, maybe because i sucked at it, but it just wasn't fun for me. i'm not really into crazy shooter games, i like the more realistic ones better. still, i'm interested in seeing what Gears 2 is gonna look like.

GOW2 is going to be tight! I played GOW for a while but all the kiddies online got on my nerves so I usually only played with friends so the room is full. COD4 is what I'm hooked on right now and the usual madden game.

Never got into Gears of war..It felt as though I was controlling a tank. I prefer a simpler, more direct form of control, aka mario 64 style. I don't like the tomb raider/tank control scheme.

Just found a trailer shows how the new multilayer going to be and if you tell me this game looks so bad ass there's all kinds of new things like

1. Crawling when your down to get away from fire and find cover

2. You can get on top of your opponent and beat the shit out of him

3. Use your opponent as a shield

4. Tag walls with your grenades and use it kinda like c4 lol

5. And now its 5 on 5 instead of 3 on 3

I loved the first one but ithink it could have been better. the game was too short and the game is like cloverfield the movie, it just throws you into the game and doesnt explain the story at all. But I am definately going to buy the second for sure, think the second is going to be better than Halo 3.

I have yet to beat horde... Made it to 28 with some friends but I've mostly concentrated on story mode... I'm in Act 4 on Insane; it's NUTS.

I'm on horde level 28 too. Its only me and my friend that played it. We got pissed off so many times but it was all fun. GOW2 was fun i guess it really depends who you play with.

^^Sent Request Haven't play GOW2 yet i went out and got it on black Friday but I've been to into Left 4 Dead I haven't even played it. But I might try it out today
