Ok so first im going to start w/ i did search (someone out there still might find a magical thread i missed lol).....neways so my dash and brake lights arent working yes all the fuses are good....i took the entire dash apart and checked all wiring.....funny thing is they come on when i brake and the headlights come on just no daytime runners or dash lights.....cluster is good and all my bulbs in my hippo sleek led tails are working so idk......im kinda lost with what to do right now......and i hate electric work (as well as it being expensive lol).....also little white box (tcu i believe under fuse box is in good condition).......something is odd though when i put fuses in they make the electric crackling noise like a short....so in short im thinking **** it im going to hardwire the damn things.....then it hits me i dont know how.....anyone know of a write up or guide that would help me accomplish this electrical nightmare?? while im at it i plan to hardwire the fuel pump etc.. any help is appreciated thanks in advance :hammer:

Have you checked your ground(s)?
How do you figure that the TCU is in good condition?

I had a problem with my gauge cluster lighting up when I hit the brakes, it was a while ago so I don't remember if my gauges lit up when I turned the headlights on.
It turned out for me one of my taillight bulbs was wrong I had a 2 prong bulb in a one prong spot.
Idk check your bulbs in your tail lights since you just changed them.

Ive had the l.e.d tails in for more than a year and havent had an issue with them all the l.e.d's light up so i know thats not the issue.....i checked the tcu and there were no burn/brown marks to indicate it going bad......also the lights would come on every now and again after i would play with the switch awhile.......then it came to a point where they would turn on if i put the switch to the on position (for the daytime runners) and then turned the car on.....it might be the switch (im hoping)....but if not i need to find a way to hardwire them or i will be able to only drive during the day time......and ive checked most grounds but im sure not all....any ones in particular/location u would reccomend?

ok try checking the front sidemarker lights my friend had a problem with one of those wires grounding out on the inside of the fender. I believe his blew a fuse though. good luck I dont know what else to tell you if I could look at it in person I could help you since I have been doing car audio for 4 years and counting.
