I today and while looking through some car sites and aricles on the internet i came across this Cry02 or Cryogenic Intake systems. Apparently what it does is cool the air before it gets to your engine using liquid CO2. Designengineering.com (http://www.designengineering.com/products.asp?m=sc&cid=1) claims that is completely safe. I just wanted to know if any one on here has used it before
Did you notice any significant Hp?
Is it worth $500?
Any issues or problems?
thanks, this is just something im curious about. im not really looking into purchasing a kit any time soon.

From what i've read. It seems a safe alternative to Nos. Plus CO2 is a lot cheaper then nos. I haven't used it, but I go back and worth with it. I'd also like to see if anyone has used it.

The only problem I have heard with it is when it hits a hot intercooler they tend to crack. Makes perfect sense hot metal and a burst of cold substance will result in cracking.

The truth is usually expressed in who is using it, and with what results. It looks like a "lock in" product, where you must buy their setup in order to make it work. But stuff like this is usually for "street racers" because this stuff isn't legal in any sanctioning events relevant to this community to my knowledge. There is water/methanol spray which is also safe, very effective and is legal in a few events including the redline time attack series.

i have a cousin how has it and used it.
his opinion was that does not make much of a difference. HP wise did not increase as much. didnt feel much of difference. in his sense looks like or seems like it was a waste of money.
