falken s15 turbo??

does anyone know what turbo chris forsberg's old falken s15 used?? i have searched everywhere but can't find any specs on the car. all i have is a pic i took when he was in town

Yah wish you took a picture of the otherside.... it would clear up a lot more.... But looking the diameter of the cold pipe, it looks more like a gt28xx style. 30xx looks bigger...

I always heard it was a GT3076.


But if it was a 30R it probably would have eaten the shaft in like ten shifts because it didn't have a blow off valve on it.

Response retard, these cars arent dailied, they are track cars. They have money for replacements/rebuilds frequently.

Do a little research before you call out tracked cars that make more sense than your assumptions.

I get surge sounds from a recirculated SSQV with the valve closed up a little more than stock. Just gotta worry about pipes and the BOV flange blowing off... BOV are used for a reason.

he used NO bov. i saw it in person. and in the pic, you can see all of his charge pipes, well most of them anyways.

3071r dont have that housing unless specifically order it that way... only 3076r come like that.

Either way - that car=no bov...

You know thats to prevent full throttle surge and has no bearing on weather you should run a blow off valve or not?

Antisurge machining or not, they still don't like it. Full Race freaks out if you mention no blow off valve because so many 30Rs bend shafts.

Full Race freaks out any time you mention anyone other than Full Race or attempt to spread some logic to the giant and massive jack off circles all over the internet about them.

Half of you guys who buy into all the twin scroll, borg warner etc etc hyped bullshit would probably get 500 rpms faster spool by just having your car racked up on a brake-eddy dyno for a couple hours while tuning for static state in cell for tractive effort and properly sizing your turbo for the mission from the beginning.

It's like everyone is building there car for a potential HIN/ Super Street article like the old APC days all over again
