okay...this is my 96 s14 ...earlier the car wouldnt start...the ecu relay was buzzing so i replaced it still buzzed then i went to change out the maf that i just put in a week ago to another one the ecu relay buzz goes away....car still wont start now.... there's a buzzing coming from the intake manifold area when i disconnect the two big connectors in front of the intake manifold the buzzing stops but another buzzing starts (diff. sound)..... i went to try to see if there was spark... no spark.... the cap and rotor is fine.... there's no fuel comming (i dont hear the pump)...so i checked the fuel pump and the relay and they are fine.... so still no luck...any ideas or suggestions? thanks!

if you have a spare ecu, maybe try that...

i kinda agree with punxva, just eliminate it as a possibility. if you don't have another ecu, take out the 4 screws holding the panel on and look for burnt crap.

what happens when you disconnect the maf? why'd you replace the maf in the first place?

do that stuff, then we'll chase the no spark.

i had a wierd issue like that where my internal fuse panel was buzzing. it turns out i had a weak ass battery. try charging your battery or just swap in another known working battery to see if it happens. judging from what you've already done, swapping in another battery won't hurt.

edit:

you also didn't give any history on the issue. is this a new engine or something. or was it running fine and then one day this shit started happening. give us some history first!!

don't know if it's an sr or ka, but sounds like a bad cam angle sensor. before you take yours out. grab a test cas/distributor (if it's a ka) and plug it in, spin it with your hand and see if you now get spark with the key on

or gimme a call, i'm not that far from u

its the original stock KA, just stopped working for some odd reason...tried the distributor thing... no luck.... didnt hear the injectors squirt.... still get no spark....tried charging the battery...no luck..... sometimes when i swap ecu's back and forth i can hear the fuel pump turn on but not everytime.
