can someone tell me what this is? it just buzzes and the car wont start...replaced it with another but it does the same thing...just buzzes and wont start...

okay ive figured it out as the ecu relay but why is it buzzing?

Check for an electrical short in the wiring harness. You'll need a Factory Service Manual to trace the wiring. You should be able to download one for free here on Zilvia. You'll just have to use the SEARCH function to find one.

it is buzzing because it is constantly engaging and disengaging. replace it real quick just to rule out a short in the relay. from there on out trace the wiring from the relay back, in specific look for a solid ground and that it is getting the power that is should. relatively easy troubleshooting.

okay i figured it out it was the MAF sensor i replaced a few days ago that caused it... i replaced it with another s14 maf sensor the buzzing at the ecu stopped but it still wont start...some type of buzzing is comming from the intake manifold area now....any ideas? thanks for the help btw....
