Has anyone ever seen a CA18DET swapped into a Datsun 1600 roadster? Is there a build thread anywhere? I can't find anything.

I've always said the CA would be the best swap in that chassis.

Why put a dinosaur motor in there when an sr or rb can be had for near dirt cheap? Not to mention the tuning and after market that supports it.

Well thats what I'm trying to figure out.. RB is wayyy to big to fit into a roadster, and the SR will go with some cutting, but its such a bulky motor.
