I really like the way Advan RG's look, and I think they look cool on S13's fast backs as well. I was looking into these wheels but they are far too expensive. I did however find some Konig wheels that looked similar, but they were a bit spendy too. Does anyone know of any knock-off or other replica wheels of the Advan RGs?? Thanks everyone.

Also on a 16x7 wheel with a offset of 40S is it possible to run a 225 width tire on a S13 and look normal on the rim??? Thanks again.

Konig Traffiks are pretty damn cheap man, if you want something cheaper than that, you're down in the budget basement area... u know, ugly triangle 3 spokes with the cheezy chrome plating. $135/ea. at www.discounttiredirect.com for the Traffiks. Those are the only stateside RG knockoffs that I know of... u might check Katana tho, those guys don't have an original thought in their bodies

LOL!!
Well what about using a 16x7 rim with a 225 width tire, do you guys think it will work and look normal as well? Thanks everyone.

225s will be great on 7" rims. not to worry. they might bulge a little, but if you're racing, just up the pressure to decrease scrub.

Eric,
I forgot to also ask: the wheel that I am considering is 16X7 4-114.3 40S. Now with the offset of 40S, a 225 tire and taking my (soon to be) 91 bone stock fast back into consideration, will the wheels look fairly flush with the wheel wells/fenders?
Also, what heigth of a tire do you reccomend for me, I've decided on 225 width, but to not affect the speedo do you think I should go with a tire of 45 or 50 heighth?? Thanks again, Jason.

Enkei's rule IMHO, good strong wheels... I should know, I destroyed one, and it took a curb hit at 45 or so
Although most of the stuff in their US line is bling-bling crap... most the rims they made that I like are discontinued (for example, I have RS-E's)

No, correct offset for the 240SX for a "flush" appearance would be around +30.

Tire height should be in the 24"-25" range. A 225/50-16 is about 24.8" tall. Use that.

AKADriver,

Okay well not that this is a BIG issue, but it does raise some concern with me. The wheels that I want (Enkei RS5 16x7) only come in the +40 offset. Now since that won't be flush, it will probably look how the stock rims in relation to the "flushness" right?? Well how can you make the rims flush if they are only available in a +40 offset? I've heard about spacers, but people say bad things about them... Thanks again, Jason.
The only way to get good offets and sizes is to buy a quality wheel that they can either mass produce that size or have them make to your spec. When buying cheap/cheaper wheels you give up those options.
