i was lowering my car a little more last week and noticed a couple of days ago that 3 of the struts were like this.

but my rear driver side is like this, it stays like this, even after i drive. like i see that shiny part only on this sturt.

the ride is fine and not bouncy. also theres no leaks, so i dont think their blown. but i was wondering why i only see the shiny part only on that one sturt. so what do yall think about it?

pull up the boot and check for oil where the piston seals.

How is the boot attached to the top? Maybe the rubber at the mount point of the boot just tore. It can happen after a while - I don't think its much to worry about.

do you mean pull up on the bottom of the boot? i did that and saw no oil. i guess ill check the top a little later. also that rubber boot, whats inside of it? cause i was feeling it at the top and it feels like something hard is inside. thanks.

yes I meant the bottom of the boot, you wouldn't find oil at the top lol. The top part of the rubber boot contains the bumpstop. That's to keep metal from hitting metal when your suspension bottoms out. If there is no leak, I wouldn't worry.
