Hey guyz .! i bough a new 240 which is 96 dark purple .. AT &nbsp; <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh2.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':huh2:'> well i hope to swap it soon . . well .. i am really new to chemistry .. tho i see some white dots .. on my aluminum stuff <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> the place where this white shit present the most is intake manifold .. so ? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> any suGGEstions &nbsp;?

It's probably from the northeast... my old Dodge, which spent most of its life in NY, had lots of this. &nbsp;It's just minor corrosion. &nbsp;It's not something to really worry about. &nbsp;It should clean off with a wire brush.

Thats basically aluminums version of surface rust. &nbsp;If it bugs you, sand it off....then paint the aluminum with some high temperature paint or clear coat.

so THAT's what that shit is. I didn't know aluminium (aluminum since I'm in the states) corroded, and always thought that it was some sort of funky growth (that could withstand extreme temperatures...errr) or corrosion due to outside elements.
It refused to come off with degreaser, too.
