Dude, its common sense. Nuts hold manifold. Unscrewing nuts does not hold manifold...which allows for removal. Thats it.

#2 visualize and win!!!!!!!
# 3 If you have an FSM no question will go unanswered. (remove & install)
I just went through this and for the 14 SR its just 2 bolts holding the lines onto the block and I think a 3rd under the water neck.

Why are you changing your headgasket?...
You overheat your motor? If so you need to have machine work done.

bought the car with a blown headgasket! drove it when testing it! drove fine and boost still works! its just blowing out white smoke! also i can smell coolant coming out from the exhaust!

Don't worry about the turbo lines, fuck those stock hardlines. Once the mani is removed buy some taka braided lines that you can actually remove easily, and search for the FSM that will tell you step by step how to do any disassembly/assembly you need.

2:and yeah, +1 for taka braided lines. and getting your block all decked and honed and stuff/junk.
just because it works now doesnt mean its gonna work in a couple days...
3: if worst comes to worst sell/junk that sr and drop you in some ka

forget about the manifold get a hacksaw and use some muscles, get a top mount mani after. Get Taka lines very nice.
Make sure u press down on the saw only on the forward strokes and no more then 60 strokes per min, as this can overheat the blade and make it dull very fast, and also try and use some cutting or lubricating oil.
Also just replacing your head gasket won't solve you're problem you could have damaged head or block, warped
