if i am only looking to about 300-350whp, which engine is cheaper to go with? how much do you need to spend on a ka rebuild? if rebuild ka t has good power + 2400 c.c and less money for SR20 i think i will go for it thanks.

I'd rather do SR20

But KA would probably be cheaper.

its gonna be about the same.

if your goal is 300-350 rwhp...oh and RELIABLY mind you....being "cheap" really shouldn't be in your vocabulary.

Please do more research on KA-T's and SR's before doing either. This has been discussed countless times before.

Well in Cali your in a lose/lose, at least with a ka-t you can make it stock pretty quick for a ref check

id say go with a ka. Theyre ganna be about the same price. Id go with ka because the parts are easier to find because u can find them in a junkyard and can get anything within a few days. Also ka's are torque monsters haha. And i drive an sr20. i kno i kno im very contradicting

As he said. Research before you ask.
