^^ fixed
that is fucking insane and awsome in so many ways...guy has serious driving skills....
btw isnt that like 10x more dangerous for the cop to try a PIT maneuver(sp?) on a highway with oncoming and no divider and traffic still going behind them....I think the point of that is to take them out but onto the shoulder he was trying to make him spin out like in the middle of the highway or to the left towards traffic flowing the other way

This shit happens in CA all the time.
I've seen people get away on LIVE TV.
I remember once this dude ran from the cops, ended up in surface street, got out of his car, ran into an Apt. Complex, and the camera cut after 15mins.
He fucking disappeared, and the whole place was surrounded by cops.
ahahah
that's some Anne Frank shit.

Twenty-seven-year-old Hirofumi Fukuda, driving a white Lexus sedan, was approached by a patrol car for running red lights. When he saw the police, he did what any self-respecting lawbreaker would do: he took off. That's the easy part. The double-take comes when it took 2,240 police officers, 460 police cars, and one helicopter two hours to catch the man.

Not really a thing of them not chasing you..more of, they arent gonna chase a guy who is abviously speeding in a car faster than the police car, mostly because they dont want to endanger the lives of civilians..might as well as let the cameras get his liscens plate, or wait for one of their speed traps to catch him ( if they have any set up)....now that video of that chase, was obviously about a guy who had done more than just a simple traffic infraction......oh yeah, and dont know about mainland cops, but okinawan cops follow the practice i mentioned first....
