02-12-2008, 11:09 PM
That's expensive for a 3 bedroom... I don't care if it has a view... I've never heard anyone rave over how beautiful New Mexico is...
For that price you can live in a very nice house in most Los Angeles suburbs...
But beyond that, 240 owners can't even afford the rent at their parent's place, much less a mortgage...

With foreclosures popping up EVERY WHERE now...I MEAN EVERY WHERE I doubt anyone would have money to purchase anything anywhere now...
Getting loans for homes just got tougher now as well...
FYI: if you guys are seriously interested in this home, make sure your credit is outstanding...I mean outstanding, and be prepared to show proof of HIGH PAYING INCOME!
GLWS...!

Very nice home. I like the style of home. We don't have homes with that style at all by me (WI).
It's interesting seeing how much a home like that goes for there.
Is the market real bad there right now?

Damn, that house is beautiful!
I love cathedral ceilings!

the only places that are barely being affected are central big city locations. high end chi-town, key places in new york city, beverly hills, but even hollywood is getting hit hard.

nice architecture, good price also. Best of luck with the sale.
Nice house, but location location location. I don't even want to know how much that house would be on the north east.
The house market has been in a down turn for the last year or so, but I figure we are close to a bottom. I bought my house 4 years ago at 4.25% and I could still sell today for more then when I bought so it's not that bad. Just a lot of idiots who bought more house then they could afford are now foreclosing so it's saturating the market. Fed will keep cutting rates. Still can't get the rate I got back 4 years ago so they still have plenty to cut. With the spring coming and more rate cuts the house market will start to stabilize. Will be awhile before the housing market starts going up. This is just a correction. Houses were selling for much higher than it's value in a lot of areas.

My wife is a realtor and business slowed down a lot during the holidays, but now things are picking back up for her again and she is getting busy. Last couple months have been rough.

bs, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath house with 3 car garage and 2 acres of land is 250,000. Thats my parents house. Figure that this thing is over 40-50 years old, and this house here has more baths and is BRAND NEW.
Yes, it is worth that.
Amazing house man, beautiful

People who aren't from here don't realize that NM defies all conventional logic convention...the housing market is still on the up here (sorta leveling, but better than just about anywhere) and prices are high....I hope this goes soon for you!
