hey guys... i have up for sale my Works VS-XX 18" staggered setup originally planned to be on my S14.. but money problems among other things have forced me to sell them.

Specs:
Works VS-XX (Chrome with Gold Nuts)
purchased over a year ago from RBmotoring
18 x 9.5 +26
18 x 8.5 +26

Tires are Kumho Ecsta ASX Ultra High Performance All Season Radials from TireRack.com

255/45/18
235/40/18

100% Tread on all 4 tires. HAVE NEVER SEEN ROAD.

Rims themselves are in great condition.. no scratches on the front.. just one small divot.. when loading the rims into the car.. one rolled out and landed flat on a pebble.. :cry: . that was the day I got them.. :bash: . yeah but in any case.. the rear tires are quite chunky. dont ask me why i got such a huge sized tire.. for some reason.. i was an idiot when i bought that ... thinking.. shoot i dont even know what i was thinking. but yeah so there is some JDM oxidation in the rear parts of the wheels. seem to be common with JDM imported wheels for some reason. :coolugh: The only other thing is that these are 3pc rims and need to be regasketed. ****THEY DO NOT HOLD AIR.**** On 3pc / 2pc rims.. there is a ribbon of silicone or gasket or whatever that seals the line where the pieces meet. any respectable rim shop should be able to take care of this no problem. All 4 rims need to be regasketed (thanks RBmotoring for telling me btw :mrmeph: ) . But all in all they are in great condition as you will see in the pictures.
I'm looking for $2000 FIRM with the tires. I paid an as$load for these rims originally.. and probably wont get anywhere near what i paid for them. The tires go with the rims no matter what. No sense in me having tires with no rims to put them on.
I am also looking to trade these rims for a Daily Driver.. or a beater car. throw out an offer.. im pretty reasonable. my beater 91 celica just caught on fire 2 days ago.. :wtf:

As it stands.. the rims are just sitting in a heated Storage Depot in NYC.

Previous owner apparently lined it with Black Silicone.. i recommend redoing it.. looks like a pretty shabby job. best get all regasketed at once

If you take the time and read his post, you will notice that he does not want to part the tires in any way. RB wanted a lot for these wheels (If this is the right set I'm thinking of) and with brand new tires, you're getting a deal!

it probably is the same set. RBmotoring always seems to buy the same stuff over and over again. but they fail to mention certain things.. like the JDM oxidation and that you need to regasket the rims.. silly bastards..

and to guitarz1.. id be willing to sell without the tires.. but the price wouldn't change at all unfortunately. might as well keep the tires on IMO.

Even their refinishing services are a little over priced for the quality of work, but you live and learn. I've gone there to pick up numerous things but am let down time and time again after close inspection of the wheels they're nothing like what the pictures show to be.

$2100 with brand new tires in these sizes is a good price, especially considering it's hard to find vs-xx in these sizes!

price is with tires included and is open to negotiation.. but thanks . i am pretty flexible.. just that the only offers ive been getting was like 800...1150.. and that is just unacceptable. also bc the guy who was scamming using my pix before advertised them for $1350 . so that tarnished the selling price as well. im well aware of how much these wheels go for :D

in theory..with that logic then.. by posting that comment and bumping my thread to the top seeing as how you've bumped my thread once in one day.. then it is safe to say (with your logic of course) that YOU are bumping my thread WAYYY too much. do to the fact that mathematically i have only bumped my thread once in 2 days.. meaning i have half a bump per day.. so with your bump at a rate of one bump per day.. you have doubled the rate at which i bump my thread . this is all theoretical of course like i said.

actually, you are only allowed 2 bumps period, whether it's over 5 minutes or 5 days. These wheels are sexy as hell and a great price considering they come with brand new tires... You may wanna start a new thread and be more careful with the bumping.
