Need help/suggestions with a rear wing on my 93 Coupe

Whats up guys....
Need some help/suggestions from you guys. Im ordering the Chargespeed body kit for my 93 coupe next week. IMHO the coupe looks fine without a wing or with the OEM wing in its stock form. Adding the body kit, I feel the car looks a little odd without a rear wing. (Bottom heavy.) Which wing would you guys suggest for the coupe?? At the moment my car is wing less. I picked up a OEM wing and also ordered a GT-R rear wing, (Its made for the coupe.) but not to sure about it. In the Chargespeed ad the wing they show on the coupe is a little big for me, but Im not really sure what is in style per say. Im pushing 40 and dont tend to hang out to see whats in style.:) Yes, I know Im a little old. It runs in the family. Dad is 70 and drives a Twin Turbo 350z with all the goodies.:)

Here is a pic of the GT-R wing I picked up...(Im not feeling it.) It may look better once the body kit is on. Its just sitting on the car. What do you think?? Ricer???? I saw the wing on a Skyline GT-R and it looked great, but the s13 coupe being smaller than the Skyline it looks a little odd. Im hoping that with the body kit it may look better.

The car is going through a make over. Im not going to just slap on a body kit and drive it around and not paint it. I have a SR engine being built as I type with pistons, rods, ect. Engine bay has been cleaned up and painted ect. Bride Seats, Tein coilovers, 5 lug conversion, Complete z32 brake conversion. ect, ect. I hope you guys will give me some good advice and not fill my post up with cardboard wing suggestions, 6' tall wings ect, ect.:keke:

never did feel the gtr wings on the coupes...imo i would go with the oem wing or wangan coupe wing....the wing on the link looks alright too...you could go with something similar to that...

Thanks for the reply. I'll check into the wangan coupe wing. I never cared for the wing they show in there ad, (Chargespeed) maybe because in my time, many yaers ago, ONLY ricers had them on there Hondas with a crap load of stickers. (Not knocking on the Honda guys.) Is that type of wing accepted now on a nicely built car?? I have the chance to get one of these at a good price, but I get the ricer flashback everytime I look at it.

Thanks for the pics!! I guess that type of wing may be the new trend/ In style. I think I'll check into that type of wing. Thanks again for taking the time to help me in choosing a wing.

Holy crap! 1998 called, they said you can keep it. They don't even want it back. :keke:

GT wings are pretty nice, provided your car actually sees a track.

D-Max, 326Power, G-Corporation, etc.... There are plenty of good looking wings out there to chose from.

Yeah I'm not feeling the GTR wing either.

Just doesn't look good for some reason.

The GT wing is fine, granted if it isn't from APC.

Like ThatGuy's choice of wings he listed, you can't go wrong with any of those.

Not sure what brand the wing is. I picked up the GT-R wing from Jarco Corp. The construction of the wing is very nice. LED rear brake light, adjustable center section. I was told it was brought over in a container with other parts from Japan. I guess nobody else is feeling the love for the GT-R wing.:(

It doesn't really matter if it came from Japan or if it came from NOPI, it's just blah.

I mean, it's you car, so do whatever you want with it. But you asked for opinions/suggestions, so you got them. That wing style is quite old and out dated. Not to mention a bit over the top when it comes to styling (and not in the good way). It looks just like EVERY other wing from 1998-2001.

you should of got a kouki type x wing for the coupe instead...i saw one in a Option dvd and it looked sick...the gtr wing only looks good on the actual gtr itself...sorry man

the r33 wing doesnt fit the boxy lines of the s13 coupe. if you track ur car id suggest a gt wing or if u dont, no wing at all may look good.

Should have asked you guys before buying the GT-R wing.:-/ I went to a show where I saw one on a Skyline and loved it, but like you guys said, it just dosent look all that good on a coupe. Yes, I did ask for your opinions/suggestions and I appreciate the constructive criticism. I know you guy keep up with whats hot in the 240 scene and thats why I'm here asking you guys for your help. ;)

I still like the OEM coupe wing, but damn, that 180sx wing would look good as hell if it were made to fit properly.
